201608 Club Magazine - August 2016

Regular price £6.95

AROC’s August Magazine has a wide variety of articles; there’s National Alfa Day and Yorkshire’s first Italian Car and Motorcycle day of course but it’s not just covering the ‘park and polish’ events that have taken place in the last couple of months. We’re also treated to the motorsport ‘learning curves’ with Simon Adkins battling for last place at Snetterton and Adriano Martorana having fun (so he says!) at Crystal Palace in May. Glenn Holloway has spent 7 years restoring his Alfetta GTV and Mark Darlow insisted that his 156 had to be in Rosso Red. Yolanda McCall enjoyed her tour of Scotland from the passenger seat of the family 1977 Spider. Our regulars include photographs from Le Mans Classic by Peter Collins, who tells me there weren’t many Alfas there; Haydn, who has had to scrap his 145 and is selling his 164 Cloverleaf; Robin Rands, the Essex Section Secretary; Jamie, explaining the pitfalls of dirty oil filters and John Williams, writing about the positives and negatives of auction reserves. John has also put together a fitting tribute to David Edgington, who died in May and who, by all accounts, helped to save many Alfas by being able to supply spares from E. B. Spares. Another magazine full to the brim, with articles already waiting to be including in the October issue. Please keep them coming!
